Homemade Granola with Yoghurt

Last week I shared some delicious breakfast recipes with you, and this is one I still owed you. I’ve always loved oatmeal but grew tired of eating it the same way. It turns out you can get really creative with them! Today I’m going to show you how I made my own granola.

For the granola you’l need:

– 200 gr of oats
– 60 gr of almonds
– 25 gr of linseed (flaxseed)
– 1 tbsp of maple syrup
– 3 tbsp of vegetable oil
– 3 tbsp of soft brown sugar
– 150 gr of raisins

For the yoghurt:

– 1 tbsp of honey
– a pinch of cinnamon
– 125 gr of greek yoghurt

You’ll only need a small portion of the granola. But you can store the rest in a mason jar for about 2 weeks.

The How-to:

Preheat the oven to 140° C.

Mix all the ingredients for the granola (except for the raisins) in a big bowl and make sure that everything is covered in oil and maple syrup. Spread the mix on a baking tray and put it in the oven for 40 minutes. Stir it up every 10 minutes so the granola is baked golden brown on all sides.

Take the baking tray out of the oven and let it cool down.

When the granola has cooled down, add the raisins. Now you can fill a mason jar with your very own granola!

Mix the honey with the cinnamon and yoghurt and pour it in a bowl or glass. Add a big layer of granola on top of it. You’re finished! Enjoy!
